POLITICS IN HEALTHCARE
This panel session will give a macro-perspective on healthcare policy and decision-making in Malaysia. A recent podcast on BFM has acknowledged that health literacy is at an infant stage in Malaysia.
This is especially evident in the 2018 General Election, where  the manifestos of both Barisan Nasional and Pakatan Harapan coalitions failed to adequately address significant healthcare problems in Malaysia.
FINANCING HEALTHCARE
This panel session will expound on two contrasting economic principles in healthcare, Universal Health Coverage and Privatisation of Healthcare.
We will do so by looking at the economical and ethical basis behind both economic models, contrasting the advantages and disadvantages, and exploring these principles in the context of the current Malaysian healthcare system.
GLOBAL CHALLENGES AFFECTING MALAYSIAN HEALTHCARE
We will address prevalent global issues that are affecting the world and the panelists will bring it to the Malaysian healthcare context.
Panelists will include the Director General of Health (Datuk Dr. Noor Hisham bin Abdullah), and prominent figures in global health to bridge the global perspective & Malaysian healthcare, looking at the upcoming issues and figuring out how to solve them.
